And this machine wanted only one thing from its children – for them to create, supporting the world and His creations. Is it even worth remembering how it really was?? Horatio lives by this covenant. He even gathered himself a friend – Crispin Horatio collected.
You can collect a lot from junk: a telescope, an energy detector, a friend.
For a long time, Horatio and Crispin lived in peace, drawing energy from the core of a fallen flying ship. But nothing can last forever. Especially such a fragile thing as peace. One day a robber broke into their house and came for an energy core. And, don’t laugh, Horatio tried to stop the intruder… demanding that he respect his right to private property! Ha ha ha ha ha! Of course, this didn’t work – the robber attacked the overly self-confident owner and took what he wanted. Waking up with a new hole in the hull, the main character was forced to go in search of a stolen energy source, because without it, both Horatio and his friend Crispin would certainly join the ranks of rusted debris that littered the wasteland in abundance.

The world of Primordia is dominated by brown tones, and this is not surprising. The earth is devastated, the air is poisoned, and the entire periodic table can be found in contaminated water. The dreary landscape is complemented by rusting wrecks of various cars and dilapidated ruins of ancient cities. There are no people left here, no place for them.

The most important thing in quests is to study the situation. The player, even with all his desire, will not be able to solve the puzzle if he missed an important item. On the one hand, the developers tried to solve this problem: many interactive objects are illuminated with light bulbs or painted in bright colors. On the other hand, sometimes you have to look closely at your surroundings to find something you can interact with.
Illogical machines.
The first act begins with a robbery, during which the main character is robbed of an item that is important to him. The second act begins with the same. And this is one of the main problems of the game – the characters do not develop. None. Horus Horatio, by the end of his adventure, remains about the same as he was at the very beginning. He does not learn from his mistakes and practically does not draw conclusions from the revelations that have been revealed to him. The antagonist of this story also remains devoted to her principles, which makes it almost impossible to sympathize with her.
Despite this, the story itself is interesting – you want to complete the game to the end in order to find out the outcome of the current conflict. But it’s not that simple. Sometimes absolutely absurd situations happen in the game. For example, when the protagonist gets to the lair of the main villain… using the elevator. I’ll anticipate your question: yes, she controls it, like the infrastructure of the rest of the city. And he manages to get to her. Moreover, Horatio pulls this trick twice. At the same time, next to the elevator there is a staircase, the door to which is boarded up with wooden boards. Alas, even with all the desire, they cannot be torn off with a crowbar. It’s hard to put into words how much this illogicality ruins immersion. And this is at the final stage of the game, when the player receives answers to the most exciting questions!

For this reason, some items may remain unused, and some secrets may remain undisclosed. This adds a certain excitement while exploring the world. Is it possible to find a more interesting solution to a particular puzzle?? What happens if you act outside the box? On the other hand, sometimes this greatly simplifies the passage, since there are more correct decisions.
